The AT9000 MK2 Document Reader is designed to Inspect, authenticate or capture data from electronic travel and identity documents quickly and reliably in a wide variety of government and commercial applications. With a standard 400 DPI camera it also is available with a high resolution 10 megapixel (Mp) camera providing images up to 720 dots per inch (DPI) for superior document authentication.
It's one of the best-selling document readers and probably the most familiar sight at border control desks around the world. It is used in immigration terminals, visa issuance counters, document verifications centers across the world. It reads and authenticates multiple document types quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
The AT9000 MK2 reads passports, ePassports (BAC, SAC, EAC, PACE, AA), ID cards, national IDs, visas, military CAC cards and driver's licenses, 1D and 2D barcodes ((Aztec, DataMatrix, PDF417, QR Code) from printed documents and mobile phones.

- Accurate, true-color images, with anti-glare technology to reduce document laminate reflections and ambient light interference therefore improving image quality
- Removable hood for easy document and mobile device placement and stapled books, especially when using glove
